In September 2013, the School implemented a project that plays an integral part of the School’s curriculum and training method: the “Oliver Choir.”
The “Oliver Choir” combines choral singing, percussion and musical theater to create a single artistic expression.
The kids grow closer to music by making music, under the direction of a maestro, not unlike in a modern artisans’ workshop.
The goal is to create a choir that is dynamic and brings out all of the individual’s expressive potential through song, words and movement.
The method empowers youngsters to “find” their voice, bringing them together in unison in a choral song. In this way, the children learn in small and large groups, according to their individual traits, so that each one can discover their own inherent excellence.
