Our commitment to responsible investment

Kairos Group has joined the initiative promoted by the United Nations in collaboration to promote the integration of ESG principles (Environment, Social, Governance ) in asset management and investment decisions and thus contribute to the development of a more sustainable global financial system.

Kairos, becoming a signatory of the PRI, undertakes to adopt and respect, where they are consistent with its fiduciary responsibilities, the following principles:

• integrate ESG issues in analysis and decision-making processes regarding investments;
• being active shareholders and incorporating ESG issues into active share ownership policies and practices;
• request adequate communication regarding ESG issues to the institutions in which you invest;
• promote the acceptance and application of the Principles in the financial sector;
• collaborate to improve the effectiveness of the application of the principles;
• communicate the activities and progress made in applying the principles.

This decision represents the first step in a broader process of integrating these criteria into corporate processes and strategies, which first of all requires the adoption of a responsible management philosophy, based on the assumption that investments to generate development and lasting returns over time must respect the conditions of environmental, social and good corporate governance as well as the creation of a range of sustainable offerings, currently being defined.

The application of the principles for responsible investment can help to better align the objectives of the investors with the broader objectives of the company.
