KIS ActivESG is a flexible equity fund that invests in the European market with a focus on mid and large cap stocks.
There are four macro-themes observed by the team – energy transition, digitalisation, demographics and themes that do not satisfy the ESG filters applied in the investment process – and each of them contributes to fueling the long and short portfolio.
The management style, active and dynamic, is of the ESG long/short type and is mainly based on fundamental analysis with a bottom-up approach. Its investment process is transparent, able to select, for each sector, securities based on fundamental assessments integrated with ESG criteria. The management team has developed a proprietary internal ESG rating model which processes a score. This score ranks companies according to ESG parameters within the same sector.
Kairos’ consolidated expertise in flexible management methodologies allows it to offer the market a distinctive solution.
The Sub-Fund pursues the objective of reducing carbon emission exposure in order to achieve climate change mitigation, consistently with the long term temperature goal of the Paris Agreement. Taking into account the GHG intensity of investee companies (total scope 1+2 in tCO2eq/EURm) in the last 3-5 years as well as their forward-looking emission reduction targets, the portfolio manager will aim to maximise the net reduction of GHG intensity of the overall portfolio.
