KIS Flexible Alpha is a flexible equity Sub-Fund that seeks capital appreciation through a directional long/short equity strategy. The Sub-Fund invests primarily in equity securities, with a main focus on the European market and the flexibility to pursue investment opportunities globally.
The investment approach is active and flexible, with no reference to a benchmark. The strategy may take both long and short positions, with short exposure achieved exclusively through financial derivative instruments, allowing the portfolio’s market exposure to be dynamically adjusted to different market conditions.
The management team focuses particularly on selecting a limited number of equity and equity-related investments representing its highest-conviction ideas, maintaining flexibility in geographical and sector allocation and dynamically managing market exposure through long/short strategies.
The portfolio focuses primarily on European equities, while remaining unconstrained in geographical terms, and may invest in issuers across any economic sector. Exposure to issuers established in emerging and less developed markets may not exceed 20% of the Sub-Fund’s net assets.
The main objective of the investment strategy is to achieve long-term capital appreciation through active and flexible management of equity exposure, drawing on the management team’s highest-conviction investment ideas.
