Specialised in Venture Capital, he was Technology Transfer Director for the Italian Institute of Technology.

From 2013 to 2018 he was Senior Investment Manager in Quadrivio SGR, a company specializing in Venture Capital. He started his career in FONDAMENTA SGR, again in the Venture Capital sector, where he held the role of Senior Analyst from 2009 to 2013. In both experiences, he was member of the Board of Directors of various start-ups and innovative companies, including D-Orbit.

Graduated with honors in Physics from the University of Milan Bicocca, he then obtained a Ph.D. with honors (Nanostructure and Nanotechnology specialization) at the same university and several other titles, including the MBA at SDA Bocconi School of Management.
